Job responsibilities included: Ensures copy is checked and guarantees accuracy for consistency of style, spelling, grammar, and punctuation Proofreads all stages of cover copy and reviews corrections and queries Verifies copyright page to ensure all information is accurate Acts as consultant regarding editorial-related questions Maintains ?internal logic? of projects and resolves copy problems through discussions with Editors, Design, and Production Our requirements Ideal candidate possesses: Highly detail oriented, with thorough command of grammar, spelling, punctuation, and usage Strong copyediting and proofreading skills, on paper and on computer Good communication skills, both verbal and written Good organizational skills ?
